Deric Krist
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Deric Krist is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of KriTech Solutions. A third-generation collision repair professional with more than 25 years in the industry, he began as a body man's helper at 16 and became a shop manager at 20. His years inside the shop shaped his belief that technology should take repetitive work off repair professionals' plates while keeping their expertise at the center.
Before founding KriTech, Deric spent 19 years in shop management and founded The Automotive Team, providing automotive concierge and specialty claims services. He later became the first certified Tesla independent appraiser on the West Coast and spent six years consulting and appraising across the country.
Deric also spent more than four years with Mitchell International, working with collision businesses and industry groups. His experience across repair operations, estimating, and claims gave him a firsthand view of the time lost to disconnected tools and repeat data entry.
Deric remains active in the industry as a speaker and consultant.
